Of course, how a team can be up 27-7 late 2q and getting the ball 2H and then be BEHIND by 8 points in the 4q is beyond me. And I WATCHED the damn thing.

Uh, Degen... you make it sound like 4 missed PATs is something that has never happened on the face of the known planet before... I'd say at least a dozen times a year you find a kicker that doinks 4 of them in a game, and probably about a half dozen of which doink at least 5 of them.
